About Michael

Michael started playing the accordion in 2001 after having a dream about playing the instrument. He has played piano since he was very young.

Michael's childhood was spent growing up in Marshall Michigan, where he practiced piano and created artwork. These were the things he really enjoyed. Michael has continued doing the things he loves even into his adult life.

His artwork can be seen at LaFontsee Galleries in downtown Grand Rapids, where it has been exhibited since 1995. LaFontsee Galleries has been voted "Best Art Gallery" in Grand Rapids for the past 15 years by readers of On-the-Town. You can also view Michael's artwork on his own website.
